Following a partnership with BP’s digital innovation unit, Pure Planet needed new quote and switch customer journey that would increase conversion rates and be aligned with an updated visual brand identity.

What and Why?

Pure Planet, Britain’s first digital renewable energy supplier (with the help of BP’s digital innovation unit) was shifting from a renewable energy utility to an integrated Net Zero platform. With a fresh visual language and a bigger story to tell Pure Planet required an updated version of one the most crucial customer journeys - the first one any new user would embark on.


How?

  • Gathered qualitative and quantitative data through competitor research, analysis, and journey mapping to evaluate existing quote and switch journey

  • Created user personas and user scenarios

  • Collected user feedback through usability testing methodologies.

  • Distilled insights to optimise existing quote and switch journey

  • Led and supported stakeholder workshops to identify business objectives and user pain points

  • Designed a dynamic quote and switch journey prototype (in line with AA/AAA 2.0 web accessibility) for usability tests and stakeholder evaluation

  • Worked closely with product manager and development team to facilitate design implementation
